Are you in one of those organisations that is in its third, fourth, seventh iteration of scaling agile methods? You are not alone. Many transformations stall, fail, get stuck or die a violent death because the organization can’t agree on the how or why. Some of it happens between departments, other and often times it’s because the agile initiative can’t seem to cross that ever tricky middle management layer and get executive support. And as a result, we keep switching back to what we did before…
This talk is about why agile transformations stall, start back up and what different parts of the organisation (including management!) listen for and focus on so you can be sure to tailor your message in this or the next iteration of transformation. We’ll make it interactive, talk about what management listens for and why they haven’t been listening. I’ll bring some insights and we’ll probably come up with some new ones as a group!
